KotakuInAction literally brigaded the Fire Emblem sub to a) plant the false rumor about gay marriage being out in the Italian version and b) whine that being fine with skinshipping being gone but not fine with the removal of gay marriage was "hypocrisy" because all censorship is the same.

I was talking more about journalists dropping Gamergate into articles about colonizing Mars.

I hate that too, to be fair. I saw Star Wars recently and I'm already over "Kylo Ren is a gamergater lmao lmao lmao!!!!"

That's why I say they've become the perfect boogeyman and-or scapegoat.

We're going to keep seeing shit like that whether Gamergate's still around or not.

journalists have been doing this since before gamergate even had a name. they find it cheap and easy, not to mention good for revenue.
