Monad.exe is a panfandom technological/psychological horror RP inspired by the Master Reboot video game. This is a character-driven platform where your character will be introduced into a rapidly deteriorating environment. Despite the good-intentions behind the developers of Monad, the emotionally charged programming that surrounds each character ultimately proves to be too much for the servers to handle. The longer your character is in the game, the more prone they are to glitches. These hiccups in the data can manifest in a variety of different ways, tearing open past scars or exploiting your character’s innermost fears. The plot ensures monthly updates in an attempt to re-secure data, but sometimes even the updates can do more harm than good.

Each character will wake up in their own apartment that is decorated according to certain parameters in their personality. Keepsakes and mementos from their life will be available to them in their living space. You may control how much your character remembers about the circumstances of their passing, and how they respond to their environment as it shifts around them.
