have you ever modded non-anon? if so, which modding experience was preferable?

I have! I've been modding more or less since I started RPing back on LJ, since I'm a big believer in giving back to a game when I enjoy it.

Picking which is preferrable is hard, though, since my enjoyment in modding has to do way more than the players I have to deal with rather than if I choose to be anon or not. My anon modding experience was actually pretty awful because I had a small, but very "dedicated" group of players that were seemingly determined to make my life as difficult as possible. I don't think it had anything to do with my being anon, but if I did mod again, I would probably be anon again. It's not necessarily because I want to, but this dedicated group of players were also lowkey wankers, so I'm sure If I had my name attached, things would have been worse.

Though I probably won't mod again, I should note. I don't know what it is, but players have definitely gotten worse to deal with in the past year or two, and ultimately I ended up stepping down because it wasn't worth the amount of stress it was causing me.
