yup, just three. that's why there's been a drop train of 14+ people so far! can't be that the mods actually fucked up and made it worse by refusing to apologize. just thirsty anons.

okay, so that's this time. now explain all the other times over the last year or more.

if y'all over at ryslig are hemorrhaging players at that kind of rate you have bigger problems than a shit mod

either the whole modteam is shit or the playerbase is shit or they're both shit and just feeding off each other

it's not like 50 people dropped out all at once. plus the number of drops will be replaced with the new app round.

you're getting way too excited about shutting down ryslig. might be time to touch some grass.

It's also AC time and some of the drops have just been inactive players which muddles things a bit

i know of at least four people who have dropped specifically because of the mod thing (not including the one who dropped after the ban warning), so i'm sure there are more who just haven't said anything for fear of some sort of backlash

i honestly think things have come to a boiling point. there have been frustrations for a while now, but with the debbie thing, the sotg, and now this player getting accused of stalking, it's become too much for a lot of players to take. just look at enjolras-mun's drop plurk (especially the part where she says she can't post to the ooc comm because she was removed already, almost like the mods are working particularly fast to hide all the drops that have been rolling in... hmmm).

you realize that the helper mods actually handle the drops, right? same with lists and all of the other mundane processes. like the reason why require the drop removal codes is so that the process can be speedy instead of manually removing every account from every community.

tbh i haven't really noticed it being much quicker or faster than it usually is around this time of the month - the drops from last night or the day before, for example, were up for a while before being screened despite having already been removed from the comms.

all I am saying is the mods can screen too, and screening has happened faster up until the last couple of days, regardless the reason for the drops.

it is hardly the end of the game, even if twenty people were to drop and be screened suddenly. but it does not mean people are not allowed to raise an eyebrow at it.

just because people are dropping doesn't mean they all go on rpanons

ive also had at least 4-5 folks on my plurk line drop and state that they were dropping specifically because of the drama, bro

not to say that all of the drops are drama-related, but i think it's fair to say that at least a piece of them are

i don't doubt some of them are, and no one said that they weren't either, but you are definitely overdramatizing it

4-5 people dropping because of the wank isn't a big dramatic death knell for a game with over 200 players, especially since there's usually an increase of drops at this moment due to AC. especially when there's over 40 new apps coming in.

i did not call it a death knell or imply that it was. all i meant was that its not really fair to chalk it all up to AC when multiple anons are confirming that a fair chunk havent been. there's still folks who might drop for wank-related reasons but won't be upfront about it oocly, so as to avoid drama.

this is far from the end of the world, but its still had at least some tangible impact on the game. i get that anons are sensationalizing the fuck out of it, but i dont know that it should be waved off like that.

tbh most of the droppers from wank that I've seen were friends of sean and Jan, most of the players I know are adopting a wait and watch stance.

the ones i know of weren't friends with either of them, it was purely disgust/unease about the mod fuckery that drove them off

so yeah, not game-killing, maybe, but it is worrisome that this has driven off so many players, many of them long-time members of the game

but

that still doesn't mean they're stirring wank on the anoncomms

you can drop because of the vitriol coming off of all of the drama, yeah, but that doesn't mean all of them are the three shitstirrers on here

it's not even all on wankgate and rpanons anyway
