Some of the KH chars are still close to canon, but Xion...

Xion told Roxas she had made better friends than him. She also feels more... aloof? Her monster behaviors are very extreme, though by nature of the game, characters do tend to change over time.

not to mention she harbored a dangerous criminal that's out to commit monster genocide because she feels ~bad~ for him

telling roxas she made better friends than him made me side-eye violently, but am i the only one who could see xion doing the harboring? dependent on the canonpoint and their interactions ofc, but considering what she is...

nah, you're not the only one. I've played Xion myself previously knowing only the vague jist of what happened in Ryslig it sounds exactly like something she'd do/be involved in. when I played her she always had this near-magic ability to befriend the oddest and mostly unlikely characters - including ones who you really think wouldn't warm up to her. Most of the time this would be with neither me nor the other character's mun really trying, too.

all of this of course would mean she'd be in their corner or at least willing to reach out when push came to shove. which sounds like that general jist of what was going on in Ryslig if i've heard correctly
