rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

it's okay if you didn't like it, but facts is facts, having a poc actor/actress play a traditionally white character has zero negative effect on how successful a movie is.

plus I like it. Annie's not meant to be a well-written film, and really neither is Nancy Drew. so /SHRUG

according to whom? to what authority? because everyone involved with the film itself, most importantly its producers who bankrolled the thing, are happy with those numbers.

movies don't have to be giant blockbusters to be successful. you don't seem to understand how the film industry works.
