rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Oh my god yes. (Also if you threaded with a Sinjir on d_p, it was definitely me, because god knows I was smearing myself all over that for actual weeks after the movie.)

I want like everything with Poe. First, because the more I play Sinjir, the more I realize how attracted he is to unironically heroic people. Because it's just so novel to him. Who are you!! How have you survived in a cruel and uncaring world!! And also because it's something that he doesn't feel that he has, and it's something that he wants for himself. Real emotional connection is new and scary and really, really nice.

Which isn't to say that I would automatically demand that it be shippy, but Sinjir probably would have a little bit of a crush regardless.

Sinjir as an interrogator/defector/spy surrounding the First Order conflict would be amazing. Sinjir as someone from the past who's trying to get used to the time that he finds himself in is amazing. (He would probably gravitate towards Leia and the Resistance very fast.)

Shit, son, I feel like you have my number already. (That wasn't me, alas, and I am feeling like I've missed out??) And idk, I think that they could have some really stellar interactions in any of those circumstances. I tend to play Poe as a fixer of sorts; between his own nature that we've seen so far and his commander status, he's the sort of dude that seeks out the best in others and tries to give them the tools to recognize and find it in themselves as well, and people that may have otherwise/in the past have been adversaries aren't discluded -- in that sense, Sinjir would be really interesting to him as well.
