actually, google tells me it was 1972 since that's when she was 13. which would make bowie 25.

apparently she was 15 when it happened?

there are some conflicting accounts here

most reports say 13/14, but she never actually specifies, likely because she doesn't want to bring that up. it was before she hooked up with jimmy page, which was when she was 14.

well, she was also stoned most of the time during that age, so it's understandable she might not actually remember how old she was.
