legally? there's a huge difference. especially when lori mattix had fake ID and an appearence that suggested she was well above the age of consent. so even if bowie had asked, she was prepared to lie through her teeth about it. she made a lifestyle out of this.

but that's not what being a sexual predator is. being a sex offender/committing a sexual based crime makes you a sexual predator but being a sexual predator does not make you a sex offender

pua's/sluts/mansluts are sexual predator's but they aren't committing a crime...normally. Sexual predation is a question of morality more then it is a question of legality. For example, someone that cruises a bars and hits on weak-willed whatever is a sexual predator, but they aren't commiting a crime until it becomes noncon. in the same vain pua's that operate by exaggerating or hiding certain traits would be consider sexual predators too.

lori and sable actively went out to bang groupies. also, and this is mincing numbers but since that's what we're doing, bowie was 26, not 30. only four years, but it is a difference.

point is, none of this matters. no one cared about it when it happened. bowie was embarrassed about it and lori remembers it fondly. no charges were pressed and the fact that you're all shitting bricks over this right after the man died is just in bad taste.
