Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

Fair enough. I'm just looking to be a bit healthier, not make a huge change or deny myself anything.

fair enough. extremes should be avoided at either end

they say exercise is the cure to all ills, but if you're having trouble getting going with that, try adding a little keffir to your diet. it's my staple "health hood" along with salad and the occasional granola and it's not like most health food, it's actually good

I think there's nothing really wrong with doing what makes you happy, but when I start really getting into it then it starts to become policing or getting too personal which I didn't mean for this thread to be!

Personally, my family has a lot of diabetes (not a surprise considering I did mention everyone just gorges on and forces as many sweets on everyone else lol).

I've tried keffir before! I really like that kind of sour taste it has. Is there anything really special about it over yogurt?

don't take anything said here too personally, anon. it's an rpa thread. only bulging toolbags take things said over the internet personally

having diabetes does change things. how much it does is up to you. there's plenty of people who will be full of advice and instructions and diet plans. only you can decide how much you want to commit to any of them

keffir is like... the 3rd healthiest drink on the market? 3rd or 4th? i can't remember the exact rank, but it's pretty far up there. yogurt, idk if there's actually any health value at all to that (depends on the yogurt i guess) but mostly i just know it for being the kind of food people who spend inordinate amounts of time weighing themselves prefer. if you or anyone else wants to live a life of eating tiny little tubs of yogurt during daylight hours only that's yours or their prerogative. it just sounds immensely depressing to me personally

Oh, I don't. It just sucks that this thread might be helpful and everyone's so argumentative lately. I guess it's just the holidays!

I thankfully don't have it, but it does run in my family and if I can prevent it I'd love to. I want to do what I feel is best for me and what I think fits for my lifestyle, which is why I asked for little things for now. From there I guess I'll see where I'd like to go personally but someone else in this thread might already know where they want to!

I like both well enough! I just wasn't sure if there was much of a difference other than texture and thickness. I don't see it a lot but it's really delicious so I'll probably buy it the next time I see it and try to add it to my diet. Hope it's health will rub off on me.
