rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Someone else feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong, but yeah, you're seeing some people reply with "Hiatus!" as a courtesy since their hiatus was over 2 weeks within December (Example: 13th December - 30th December) while this player's hiatus was 12/21 - 1/20, which is only 10 days in December and thus doesn't exempt from providing their December activity.

From the AC post:

"Those who have been on hiatus for more than two weeks during the AC period will be exempt (though we would like you to check in, if possible!)"

So only people with a 2 week and above hiatus within 1st to 31st December have no need to reply at all, should they be lacking the means to do so.

I acknowledge that it's inconvenient to have to respond to activity while you're on hiatus during ac period but unless things have changed, ac is the first of every month so they should have worked something out. It's not like a twister suddenly whisked them to Oz and they weren't able to plan ahead.

You're welcome. The rules have always been consistent and out there in the open, sure it sucks to be stuck without Internet but we're not talking about something like a hurricane, this by all means sounds like a planned trip so they should have checked well in advance that everything was going to be okay.
