rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Except it's like that even when it's not the holidays. We have one horror event a month, if even. That event will offer SoL options for those who apped into a horror game but refuse to play horror.

Any more than that and people start mewling about how you want all horror all the time. Also none of said events have any bearing on the plot, such as it is.

To be fair, the game moves at a medium-to-slow pace. There are some super fast taggers, but they aren't the majority. Some people are tagging into the change log for months. If we had too many events back to back, most of the game would be in backtag hell forever, and deep, meaningful CR would be almost non existent.

I'm in favor of having more events then. Maybe the pace will get some of the dead weight to see they're not fast enough for a big game and drop. There's no reason a game with almost 300 characters should be anything nearing slow and it's sad that slow to medium is an accurate description.

We should be getting shit done, not backtagging for months long beyond the thread having any relevance. No wonder getting strong CR here is so hard when it takes months to finish your first thread.

While I'd love for the pace to speed up, the average tag rate is once per a day in dwrp. Not going to happen.

I've never seen anyone ignore all horror options, just ones they don't see happening to their character or aren't interested in.

And you're also assuming this game is faster than it is.
