rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I've considered throwing something else up there just to see what happens. I just haven't decided what to post about.

I'm not saying it makes _sense_, I'm just saying that's what I was figuring why nobody had broken out of the one post.

It's definitely "don't know what to post about" that's kept me from putting something else up.

Yeah, I'd want to make it something people in general (or at least some large subsection so it's not only for just one or two) could tag into but I don't want to make another, "hey, we're at Maz's Castle, peeps!" because obviously...there's a post for that already.

idk, I think there's some merit to another wide-appeal, meme-like post along those lines, since the last one seems to be winding down. drawing from EU off the top of my head, but maybe something like a mingle aboard the Errant Venture or the Coral Vanda? The Maz Castle post was fun to watch, but there's only so much 'sit at the bar and drink' you can do before it gets a little stale. But with something more diverse, you could have that element for people who thrive on it, but also prompts that make a lot more action likely: sabbac tables, flight sims set up arcade-style, daring heist potential, diplomatic meetings, market opportunities ... it's still a mingle post and I know those probably aren't the real aim of the dressing room, but if that's the way people are taking it then it doesn't seem like there's too much harm in just going with it and posting something fresh so it isn't forgotten, you know?

I was thinking of putting up a big general post along the lines of some shady character has put on some sort of competition on an out rim planet, possibly like a maze or something. But there are all sorts of rumors going on around it, like it was set up by like some secret sith sect or it's a cover for slave traders to abduct people.

I figured something like that would leave it pretty open for people to tag into because you get your general fortune seekers looking for prize money, jedi and other general do gooders looking to investigate things, bounty hunters looking for targets who would be attracted to this sort of event, and your general here to fuck shit up type.

That way it's a nice open post but there's more room for actioning and adventuring.

I think you should go for it! That sounds like a lot of fun, honestly, and I imagine a lot of players would appreciate something new to get into. c:

do the thing anon, and i will sit and try to think of some things too, maybe a bit of a clearer rule post so people aren't too worried about posting. i think once someone starts posting something, the rest will soon follow. -one of the admins.
