rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I'd agree with don't do a sock. At least PM them with a journal you use, could even be the character you want to play.

Also another thing you may want to be careful on is suggesting any sort of ships or kinks unless you know this player ships it or is cool with the kink. I don't see an issue with approaching them to ask about maybe some gen threads to start off with though and then both of you can see how well you mesh together before jumping into shipping or smut.

true! i only really considered a sock because i was nervous, but looking at the replies here i was clearly about to make a mistake, haha.

and yeah, i will keep that in mind for sure. i mean, i'd be equally excited with any kind of rping, but i'm certainly going into this with the mindset of gen stuff. generally thank you for the feedback, anon!
