rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i've begun to do that unless i happen to know the player who is tdming is genuinely looking to app, unfortunately. i'm not sure it's the best recourse, though, because then you end up with a lot of would-be players who don't get anyone to tag with. i think it would be all around easier if we had more transparency about this stuff.

and? it's a meme. it happens. tdm have become so important is starting to piss me off. some people don't have time for memes, and that's ok. you can't judge an entire game based only on threading with a couple of people on the tdm anyway.

sure, you can't - but ultimately, the point of a tdm is to benefit people who have decent intentions to app. if a player in a game wants to help with that, shouldn't they have the opportunity to do so by knowing whether the person they are thinking of tagging is actually considering apping into the game?

in a perfect world, sure. but were in this world so that means the person can change their mind, have something come up like the other anon said, or LIE TO GET TAGS.

i know that. hence why it's just me whining that it'd be cool if people were more transparent with their intentions, versus making a huge deal out of it.

players can do what they want, i can be a little disappointed that i ended up tagging the wrong person. it's how these things go.
