Personally, I think mod bias will be spotted. The anoncomms we have today allow players to be really vocal when they're suspicious about things and eventually the bias would be visible or one of the biased players would slip.

Honestly, I appreciate anon mods because it keeps players from projecting bias onto the mods. If no one knows the mods characters, no one will be brown-nosing. I have seen too many instances of mod characters being put on a pedestal. Obviously any way of modding isn't without flaw, but I do prefer anon mods.

It also makes me slightly uncomfortable knowing when I'm ICly tagging with a mod's character. That's just my own preference, though.

The other problem with anon mods is you run the danger of suddenly finding out that your mod is some insane piece of shit like Ang or Stormy.

From what I know she used to mod Paixao before a coup took it out from under her. Lots of bitterness about that. Started a bunch of other RPs, including Rivelata, but I don't think she stuck with any of them very long. Changed her identity a couple of times(?).

Haven't heard anything about her recently, maybe she's just vanished or gone totally undercover.
