imho, the genre pulp feel would be a great way to diffuse the sort of inherent awkward arbitrariness needed to bolster a sex game pretense - yes, it's dumb, but it's dumb in this REALLY FUN ENTHUSIASTIC WAY that also has an asthetic and a culture that everyone can get a clear sense of.

I'm pretty sure there's demand for a sex game with open action/plot possibilities, and I KNOW there's demand for a sex game without the automatic fuck-or-die coercion element. If those are the ideas you're getting/want to play with, I say go for it!
