??? damned has been over for like months

as have a bunch of other games in the game discussion thread (per caligo video, island rp, bnf brawl). that's the point. joining the talk about old games.

Did this game actually close? Or did everyone just stop posting?

It's closed. Actual endgame was scheduled for March and I think it ran over? the mods always intended to let people still play to wrap up any lose ends but it looks like the whole game lost motivation to do that because toward the end it had gotten both very small and agonizingly slow.

how did it end anyway? or did it get so slow there was no concrete ending?

I wasn't still in the game at the time so I'm not entirely sure! I heard something about sacrificing IRIS to disable the system keeping them there or something to that effect?

This is not actually true, for the record (the small and agonizingly slow part is, the ran out of steam part is not). I can understand why it would look that way if you aren't still in the game.

We were waiting on information from the mods, but two of them left without much fanfare, so it took a while to get the second half of endgame rolling. We have the information now and will be picking things up! I think this thread might have been the catalyst.
