rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

To be fair, "every time" was just twice. I'm just regretfully into kinks that attract the lazies (mindfuck, power play, transformation stuff).

You mention that I might not be giving people enough of a chance, but I'm around enough that I tend to see the regulars thread around already. My turnoffs are things like tagging into a thread and then going "I don't really have ideas, though. Can you start?", or receiving a starter and then writing stuff like "He/she reacted to the setting as it exists, but couldn't help but wonder how he-or-she had gotten into this mess in the first place!" instead of collaborating and offering suggestions to move the thread forward and keep it exciting for the person on top (almost directly lifted from a thread I was reading this morning).

I once tried to run a transformation/mc thread with someone I grabbed from an anon meme and the sub went from "oh no don't touch me there" to "iyaaan I am such a cock-hungry whore" in three tags. If I'm being too picky, it's probably because there's a whole lot of shit in the river.

Anon sounds like a person who wants both players to be involved in a thread though. Isn't that what we're always complaining about here?

If it's just twice, definitely give it another chance. And I wouldn't judge the 'regular's just by public threads. Sometimes you get A LOT more out of people in private than you would in public for a variety of reasons. And honestly, if that's just the first reply or so it's pretty standard and not something you should get bent out of shape over. Let someone get into a setting before changes get made to it.

It's not that the river's shit. It's that people complain the tap water isn't Avion with gold flakes.
