rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Super Robot Wars Unification

SRWU is a small, multi-fandom crossover DWRP inspired by Super Robot Wars, a popular franchise of turn based strategy games based around giant robot combat. In our game, player characters become members or close allies of the Unity Group, an organization dedicated to battling many threats that endanger the Earth Sphere, both internal and external - alien invaders, rampaging monsters, hostile human groups and many more.

In SRWU, events play out not only as DW posts, but also during AIM-run missions - combat operations during which player characters engage enemy forces in battle. Such missions are always scheduled in advance (from a RL perspective, not necessarily an IC one) and usually last 3 hours each, with an average of 2 missions being run per week, 6 to 9 player character combatants present in each mission.

Unlike crossover games that whisk characters away from their canons and place them in a completely new setting, SRWU integrates the characters' canons together - their events play out during the course of the game. However if one so decides, there is an option to app a character without any corresponding canon events.

Although SRWU is a mecha game, non-giant robot canons are accepted if they fit thematically. OCs are also accepted.

You wake up in a glass coffin. The magical forest around you is cast in twilight; calm, peaceful. The only sound interrupting the wind through the trees is that of birds, chirping a song that you almost seem to recognize.

You probably could have done without the dwarf trying to kiss you, though.

Beastly Roses is a panfandom, fairy-tale game based in the ruined land of Loria. As characters begin to explore the land, they will find there is far more to this story than meets the eye. The forest is full of coffins, and the coffins are full of bodies. The dwarves won’t answer any questions, and nearby villagers only mumble something about queens and curses and – foxes? – before scurrying away. Your presence here will decide the fate of this kingdom, whether balance is regained, or if everything falls back into chaos.

Which is all very exciting, except for one thing – how do you get home again?

APPRENTICE WANTED

The allure of the sign is just too strong to resist, isn't it? Why, it seems to dismiss other pressing questions such as WHY AM I HERE? or maybe even HOW DID I GET HERE? or the ever troubling WHY ARE THOSE GNOMES STARING AT ME?

All important questions, but none so fascinating that this sign could not stir some curiousity in you! Last you remember, you'd been walking. Headed nowhere fast with your feet as your guide. It's the sign that brings you back to Earth, and it's almost as if you'd been day dreaming until now. Seems you'd taken a wrong left turn somewhere and come to be, as the Maku Maku call it, 'dirt-roaded'. The surroundings are unfamiliar to you, it appears as if you're in some sort of fantasy land. There are castles on the horizon and critters abound, but the only real lead you have is this sign with a fantastically flashy arrow.

Your feet don't like this lingering! They practically begin moving themselves in the direction of the arrow! Practically? No. They're definitely doing it. They'll lead you into a fabulous castle and directly to the court of the Mistress.

She greets you with a grin, and it's terribly offputting, you wait with bated breath for some sort of clarification, perhaps some assistance in your time of need...

"I hope you aren't as rubbish as the last one."

And that's when you black out.

apprenticewanted is a panfandom Jamjar set in the universe of the NSFW comic OGLAF. While there will be heavily sexual themes and sexual events, this is both a fantasy and a smut themed game!

The world of Oglaf is very much like a compilation and parody of fantasy and fairy tales. Your characters have been summoned by the sorceress known as The Mistress in order to liven things up a little. She will take everyone as an apprentice in order to ~~humiliate them~~ allow them to learn magic, but characters may opt out of their apprenticeship and take to the surrounding village. They will be stripped of their powers, but may gain them back through events of both a sexual and magical nature!
