is there really no way to make tracked tags show up on your dash? i figured out how to track a tag but i can only seem to check new posts by manually going to that tag.

so i'm in a game and i had some (very tenuous) cross-canon CR planned with a new character. i tagged their post, we did a couple comments back and forth, but then i got suddenly swarmed with some unexpected IRL stuff and couldn't reply for a few days. when i was able to i sent the player a pm explaining what had happened, apologizing, and saying i hadn't meant to drop the thread and would love to still continue. i replied to the thread, but the player hasn't replied or replied to my pm.

should i just chalk this up to dropped cr? it's really awkward because i was planning on apping into their cast this app round, too. (not because of them, just coincidentally, but still.) i understand if they want to drop the thread now but not answering my pm makes me feel a little uncertain.

I'm a shitty writer and I know it, but I want to write and it frustrates me because I don't want to ruin things with my shittiness

how do I make myself not want to write or rp so i dont have this problem and i dont make anyone unhappy

has anyone here ever done a big bang before? this is my first one, and i'm the writer. the artist for my team just emailed me and asked me to tell them what to draw. isn't that supposed to be their job? like they're supposed to read the fic and illustrate a scene of their choosing, right?

When someone's acting obnoxious at you on Plurk what's the best way to shut them down? Actually tell them to shut up, or just ignore them when they act like that?

I have this weird thing where I cant eat new food.... Even if it smells good and is made from all things I enjoy I start freaking out and get the spoon/fork about halfway to my face before my heart starts pounding and I cant breathe and I put it back.

Ive been like this as long as I can remember but theres no good reason why. Have any other anons struggled with this type of thing and is there anything that has helped you move past it?

I've just been rereading the Harry Potter series, and I think I found a plot hole that I never noticed before, and it's irrationally annoyed me.

Basically in book two Lockhart tells the story of how he performed some incredibly complex charm on a werewolf and "the fur receded, the fangs shrunk as he turned back into a man, and the village would always remember him as the person who saved them from monthly werewolf terrors." Which seems pretty clear that he would never turn into a wolf again, and was forced into human form during full moon time.

Fair enough he didn't actually do that stuff, but some other wizard DID, that then got his memory obliviated for the trouble. So what annoys me is this: in the next book, Lupin is introduced as a werewolf for which there IS NO CURE. And this is made a big thing of when Bill is bitten too.

So what about that cure done by the nameless wizard Lockhart ripped off? I know it's a silly and petty thing, but it irrationally annoys me.

And to make this more of a discussion rather than "mad anon rants like a weirdo", what books or films do you enjoy that have annoying plot holes?

and they I tried to correct him by saying that anime is a niche market even in japan, tried to explain the whole otaku culture and even pointed him in the direction of a study made by the japanese government about the cultural impact of robot anime and his reply was basically "but the essay doesn't have to be 100% accurate."

Does anyone use bb creams? I got this Skin79 bb cream and it makes my face grey. Anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone have any good recipes for someone trying to lose weight? My main problem isn't that I don't like healthy food (I love it) but I still eat way too much of it and if I portion control then I'm hungry/miserable constantly and end up relapsing into something terrible like fast food.

So basically I'm looking for recipes for meals (both lunch and dinner), and maybe snacks, that are both filling and healthy. I'm already exercising more, I am trying to swim a few times a week, but it's slow going.

I don't even want to be thin, I've been a big girl all my life, but I'd settle for looking healthier and less all-round flabby. I can cope with large and toned, but at the moment I just look like a whale.
