Whenever one of those stories on tumblr that are designed around provoking an emotional reaction makes me cry, or upset, I always feel reassured in the back of my mind, like yes, good, I am a normal human.

Whenever I get upset going through the day and find myself irrationally upset and overemotional, I wish I could be an aes sedai of the blue ajah, I wish I could just not feel.

It's the first reaction that confuses me more.

i was paying with a gift card and all he said was "2.04" and then asked the person behind me what they had and had his hand hovering near the receipt machine, so I figure that's what must be left on the card so I say "Ok, I don't need a receipt" and start to walk away and he just YELLS so loudly "excuse me ma'am are you trying to steal a sandwich?!?!" in front of a store full of people

I get environments like that can be high stress but no i'm not trying to fucking run off with 2 dollars worth of sandwich jesus h christ

i hate this pervasive idea that someone accused of a crime would only get a lawyer if they're guilty because if they're not, ~the truth will find a way~

how about maybe you want someone who knows dick about the law to cover your ass and make sure you aren't taken advantage of? just because you know you didn't do it doesn't mean joe schmo cop isn't going to "have a feeling" because "you just kind of look guilty" when cops doing shady shit on gut feelings has been well documented

tmw rp writing cliches have ruined common words for you. 'burgeoning' might as well be next to 'dicks' in the thesaurus entry.
