If you're talking about someone specific who won't forgive you, give up. They don't owe you a second chance and you're wasting your time trying to repair something that's never getting fixed.

If you mean "people in general", well... depends on what you did and how you've been acting since. And once again, no one owes you a second chance, so you're better off starting anew in crowds where people mostly don't know you.
