Thankee sai

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. We don't need several threads soliciting photo evidence of body parts, and we already know that we only care about yaoi. Failure to comply will only result in deletions and butthurt. "People may notice site slowdown/cache error pages. We're working on fixing. You can help: finish posts at 3k comments, not 5k or more." - Dreamwidth@Twitter

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.

I don't want to name&shame, because in some games I like the players despite their homophobic actions. One game I can mention, however, is one that was mentioned last anoncomm post and that I was a member of.

Trans9 had some of it. When I played there, I actually was working on a lesbian ship, and got actual complaints that it was F/F. There was also pretty hypocritical complaints about a non-sexual F/F puppy ship, by people that thought a slightly more sexual M/F puppy ship was totally fine.

Trans9 is NOT a homophobic game, and I am sure most of the players are completely fine with F/F, but some bad apples had to try to ruin it.

The hate/dislike for F/F players definitely exists, but thankfully, it's not everywhere and hopefully stays where it is right now.

For a moment I was, "since when did Trans9 had a lesbian ship?". Then I realized you didn't mean spaceship for lesbians.

That does sound like an awesome idea for a game, though.

Trans9 had Nanoha and Fate get married, though

Read my posting again. In it, you will find a sentence pointing out that trans9 is not a homophobic game as such. In no way did I imply that it was, never did I state so.

You seem to have this odd idea that homophobia can only exist in situations where lesbian characters are outright banned and prevented from existing in any form and that every other situation is magically homophobia free.
That simply isn't the case, though, homophobia can show itself, and make playing a pain, in a lot more ways. Such as the one several people keep explaining to you.
