I've been tracking this thread and I feel so similarly to you, anon. I'm still in the game and waffling about dropping, but the fun I have with my CR is what's keeping me around. I'm not someone who wants to be in the limelight all the time, or even at all, but I feel like my contribution to the game is really limited because so many things have to go through the mods.

The cresting thing in particular is what has me most irritated. Sure, I get it. Review my characters threads and see what crests ping the mods. But don't tell us it'll be two weeks and then have it take two months. I noticed that previously the mods made the event so that the crests didn't work so that they wouldn't have to put out the crests.

The mods have just been moving at a glacially slow pace lately. I want to go out there and do things, not be held back because I have to wait for the mods to tell me that yes I'm allowed to beat their precious NPCs.

Yeah dropping was a hard decision for me because when I did have fun, I had lots of it and I made some good friends in the game.

If these problems could be fixed, I would definitely consider coming back. Just timely approval on digivolution/cresting alone would make a huge difference.

Or change the cresting so that the mods still get to pick what crest your character gets, but you're in charge of making it happen. It would take a load off the mods and put more initiative back in the hands of the player.
