i think she might be asking me if i'm looking for a birthday present for someone, and if so, what it is; i'm not positive, though.

(for some context, the sentence is from an e-mail that a nice Japanese lady i bought a book from on Ebay sent me. i just don't want to respond to it in a confusing way if i can avoid it.)

My computer won't pick up sound from external mics. It's a pretty new computer, and it picks it up fine from the internal one but that sound quality is horrible.

Any advice? =/

Assuming you have a Windows computer:

Right-click your volume icon in the lower right hand of your desktop
Select "Recording devices"
Right-click on the device you want to use as the microphone in the list and select "Set as default device"

Been doing research on vampires, and I'm quite tempted to make a really classical vampire OC. Hideous, smelly, drinks blood by tearing chunks out of people, plenty of weaknesses but power enough to terrorize entire countries by himself if he's clever.

And then have him eat Twilight vampires.

there are very few, people just want to bitch for the sake of bitching and show how awesome and inclusive they are. almost all of them actually don't care about the issue aside from getting their slacktivism badge by screaming TRANSPHOBIC!!! at a stupid fucking internet yaoi game, and have no desire to app an ftm character anywhere.
