rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

idk, i don't really see how karkat<3nepeta has more chemistry than karkat<3terezi. karkat clearly finds nepeta's crush on him to be really awkward. he doesn't want to step all over her feelings, but he doesn't reciprocate in any way.

i would really side-eye any karkat that thinks there's any actual grounding for this pairing on his part in canon. after a lot (and i mean a lot) of development in a game? maybe. but with their personalities and existing canon relations, i really don't see karkat/nepeta working out realistically.

I'm not saying they do? Obviously with the way canon went there's no way for it to happen out of nowhere. With a lot of development? That's exactly what I mean. I may ship it but I'm not going to be unrealistic about my characterization for it. That's why I want to play it in a game. I'd have months and months to develop everything. It's already alluded that they get together in the dreambubbles. Or well, A Karkat gets with A Nepeta. So I think their personalities have the potential to be complimentary. But yeah, development. Lots of it.

It'd just be so kawaii, anon. You don't understand.
