I wonder what the hold-up is on getting new mods appointed. I'm starting to get worried.

Maybe nobody has volunteered.

I know for a fact at least one person has.

There are two apps in at minimum.

Either they're giving people who might be considering it a chance the weekend to work on an app, or they have more than two and are debating which ones to bring on. Remember, Funk's timeline is pretty off everyone else's, and Karl still has some heavy RL stuff crushing him.

It's all the chaos surrounding the mods' lives right now that are why it perplexes me. It's already been over a week since Rini left and yet there's been no statement at all from ANY of the active mods regarding the mod positions. The only thing we've heard is from Pixle speaking as a former mod.

They're in the middle of app month now and the players are pushing for rebellion to happen. They're going to get completely slammed if they don't pull people on soon or it's going to delay the rebellion further, something that's going to upset a lot of the players who are already frustrated with how long it's been since the plot's made any significant movements forward (over a year). Now's when they need more hands on deck, not fewer.

I think the point the other anon was making is that even the remaining mods are getting slammed right now and now there's only three of them. Discussing the replacements is probably what they're focusing on before doing anything else.

Do we really need to be updated daily with "we're still discussing it"? It hasn't even been a week yet and that's a reasonable time for any game to have mod applications open and discussion about them. If it takes much longer, then yes, they'll have something to answer for but leaving people time to even apply as mods for about a week makes sense, as long as they pick and announce the new ones soon.

No, but a singular update from any of the acting mods is not too much to ask for, especially if it includes a rough estimation of when the players will know. The acting mods haven't said anything to the game about this at all.

We don't know that they're leaving time for more applications (and honestly, I wouldn't want a mod applying if they can't express interest within a week, we already have too many problems with mods not responding to issues in a timely manner, which is why I'm even concerned about this). We don't know that they're choosing between candidates. The mods at this game do not keep the players in the loop, so unfortunately, a lot of us are just left to assume that they just haven't gotten to it yet.

You know what, you're right. I retract my statement. It has only been a week and I'm assuming the worst.

It'll be different if they go another week with no word but chances are they might end this one with an announcement of who the new mods are or an update on when we might get one. I've heard they're definitely already discussing it, though.

Lisa and Zoki are good choices. Especially if Pixle's still there leading the helper mods now.

Lisa is a GREAT choice for a mod, I was hoping she'd throw her hat into the ring. She's really active and her characters are fantastic. So happy to see her join the team.

There are a couple other people I was holding out for but I'm glad Lisa and Zoki got it.
