rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

diff anon, but I know the name and I was in GB.

Dual was a mod at GB briefly. Suddenly dropped without telling anyone or any fellow mods about a week later (I forgot). As soon as she did, reserved at splendor (now a dead game.) A bunch of other people dropped from GB around this time that were considered wanky AKA that notorious Park and her racist plurk. Later people revealed Dual was talking shit about GB and about players she interacted with. She was also involved in some wanky comm for GB called mostly murders(?). It's old stuff but a lot of her former GB rp friends want nothing to do with her now.

... honestly that's pretty mild and, if old, then probably out of date with how she is now. Though I'm saying this as someone who used to be wanky and shaped up so maybe I'm just optimistic.

Maybe the anon was one of the people she talked shit about? I can't comment if she's changed or not since I never interacted or cared about her or her characters. I just knew the rough details as to what happened because I was friends with people she played with.

Either way, I really hope one bad player isn't something that'd scare people off. :(

I was in GB when she dropped, and I remember all of this, and pretty much everything you said is factually wrong. Dual was a great player and the anoncomm explosion because someone dared to drop after being repeatedly told to gtfo if they didn't like the bullshit changes was embarrassing. Smells like old grudges to me.

What the anon said IS TRUE even if it's very vague. You forgot to mention she was a bad mod choice in the first place because she honestly had no time to mod and was only so-so active. She talked behind my back about my characterization and acted like my rping was the most amazing thing to my face. Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it's not true fyi. You're sort of right that I have a grudge because I do have the inclination not to interact with her again after what happened. Maybe she has gotten better, but taking a pass on finding out if this is true or not.
