I'd really suggest finishing the main series before playing Kate, since it will flesh out who she is, her motivations, etc. In particular, Young Avengers Special #1 is a must read. IMHO you cannot play her without reading it.

I'm not sure if I want to app him at games yet because Children's Crusade is still on-going, but I do want to play him some where. /conflict

I know what you mean. I decided to just play from the end of Siege until CC is finished up and the exact specifics of how it turns out are revealed. Someday maybe I'll canon update, but until things settle down I just don't want to touch it.

If you're looking around for a game, I'm presently the lone YA warrior over at capeandcowl, though I think we had someone maybe app Billy last cycle. There're of course tons of other Marvel people there too.
