+ COMPENDIUM. THAT IS ALL.

+/- There's lots of new physical skills, so physical units are viable. However, magic is still fairly strong. But fielding a physical unit like Daichi won't hurt you.
+/- New races mean new Racial Skills = more options for strategies. On the other hand, this means the enemies can use them against you.
+/- ...It's an Atlus game

- ...Don't expect much realistic breast?

I'm currently on Tuesday in the game, so I haven't encounter any bad stuff, gameplay-wise. I'm waiting to beat the game before giving my opinion on the plot and characters.

Agreeing with the previous anon. The enemies seem to be smarter about how they use their medic units, though I'm not sure if it's just me or not.

+ The auction restock their demons if you enter and exit Free Battle. Useful if you want to bid on more demons and/or the other bidders got what you want before you. I generally bid on what I want, enter Free Battle, grind for some extra Macca, and go back to the auction.

+/- Without spoiling anything, some characters come and go into your party, so it's better to be flexible and ready to change your skills around to fit whoever's with you right now. Obviously, you can use demons to cover up weaknesses.

I think the AI seem smarter, since I have enemies use Dia/Diarama/Amrita/Glamour/Devotion/you get the idea on themselves.

Almost finished with "Chaos route".

Not to spoil much, going through it missing one person. Agreeing with the previous anons that switching skills is a must. And the AI's really smart sometimes. There was this one round where everyone took turns healing the boss and attacking with monsters that had Chaos Wave and reflect type spells.

I like the variety of characters to choose from, personality-wise and stat-wise. None of them seem like a waste to use and you'll still get a complete and somewhat balanced party once everyone's set their alignment.

The FATE system gives amazing upgrades. Level 1 ups a character's defense against an element. Level 2 gets you joint skill cracks which are VERY handy. Level 4 gives you the option to give one of your demons to a party member in the middle of battle. Level 3 and 5 unlocks a type of unique demon but you still have to fuse for them.

I'm enjoying this game a lot and I don't even like strategy games.

No, this is excellent. I'm curious about the translation, but I can tell that (barring major character assassination down the road) I'd want to possibly play one of the characters and I'm glad I won't have to hunt for iconing material. Thanks!
