rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Know what this fandom needs? Some sort of "_____ seeking my ______" meme or something. There are certain characters I would murder for, even in just a musebox or open memes or things, and likewise, even though I play only a few people, I'm interested in trying my hand at others if people have something specific they'd like to try.

Maybe we should do a role call here? Anyone up for listing who they play/where they play/what characters they'd be interested in tossing into memes and stuff?

Tell us who you play, have played, and/or are willing to play! Also, do we have a musebox?

I play Sun Ce (not in any games currently, though I'm considering

languishment), though I also have voices for Ding Feng, Taishi Ci, Gan Ning, Guo Huai, and Meng Huo, and I'm interested in trying out others, though I can't guarantee competence. I'd love to do some museboxing things some time, and if there happens to be a Da Qiao/Daqiao (since they're changing up the way they write the women's names) out there, I will find you *mouth breathing noises*

I play Hanbei here, uh, everywhere (okay, just Amat/CFUD/Asgard/Caligo...), and Jiang Wei at Amat and CFUD.

In the past I have (however briefly) toyed around with Zhao Yun, Xiahou Dun, Cao Pi, Zhen Ji, Lu Xun...I think that's it. There are various others I wouldn't mind trying but haven't yet, and I'm giddily waiting for Warriors Orochi 3 because my Japanese was basically just enough to make me desperately long to play Kaguya after I imported it, but isn't good enough for me to...actually play Kaguya until I play it in English, haha.

As for museboxes - I actually made

fuckingsnakes for the purpose of museboxy messing around with dead historical Asians a while ago, but it hasn't really been used at all yet. If anyone wants to put it to use, I'd welcome it! (Although I can certainly also understand wanting something with a worksafe URL, sob.)

I am currently active with two Samurai, I play the Kato Kiyomasa in

soul_campaign and the Saika Magoichi over in

percaligovideo but I have a wide array of characters I am willing to throw in museboxes and make valiant attempts at. Perhaps too many. Let's just make a list up here -

Samurai Warriors - Shima Sakon, Maeda Keiji, Honda Tadakatsu
Dynasty Warriors - Xiahou Dun, Ma Chao, Zhuge Dan (still slowly easing into these three)

Dynasty Warriors - Sun Jian, Zhou Tai, Deng Ai
Orochi - Shuten-douji when WO3 comes out...

...Right! I am up for memes, museboxes and random plotting and/or nerding out about Dead Historical People.

I also enjoy DW7XL if anyone with a PS3 is up for multiplayer.

I currently only have a small number of characters in games (Kunoichi plus Wang Yi over at

vatheon and Zhong Hui at

ubau).

Hello! I recently got Masamune here into

soul_campaign and just had Hideyoshi accepted into

vatheon. I also have, call them proto-muses for Yue Ying, Lu Meng and Naoe Kanetsugu. Never played them, but wrote them around a bit and like them lots.

... if anyone is interested in the magical wider world of Ancient Asian Fandoms, I also have muses for Ravages of Time's Zhang Liao and Xiao Meng, Red Cliff's Zhuge Liang (though I played him in a memory loss game forever and he's kind of, evolved past himself there), and Drifters' Nobunaga. Obscure fandoms being obscure, and interests overlapping, I'd very gladly play any of them off Koei characters.

I have Ling Tong here.

I also have a Ma Dai (who is going to Vatheon one day....) and Xiahou Ba as far as DW goes and a Masamune from SW, too.
