Hi, guys!

Since saveourships is more or less defunct, would anyone oppose to having another journal for the ships category? I know there's a shipping matrix with the funky names, but... pretty pictures. I want them and the pretty HTML. 8| Also I could add a submission post so anons can have their own secret ships added.

Personally I'm against it because I feel like it's just too much stuff with ships now. I'd be happy with it if it included all kinds of CR outside of ships though.

Just getting a little exhausted of all the shipcentric stuff when there's so many other cool things and kinds of CR to focus on. The ship stuff really feels like circle-jerking at this point. It's cute, but too overwhelming.

Plus with the old ship journal people just named/posted stuff with their own characters and literally just shipped them with anyone they had a semblance of CR with. It's not even fun if you're just naming shit for yourself and not other muns. It also makes people feel left out.

But that's just my 2 cents on it.

I'd second this. I'd rather see something that covers all the neat sorts of relationships people can have. Romantic isn't the only thing that is real fun to see, I'm loving the people who troll other characters, the close friends, the families, etc.

If I go through with the journal, I'll be adding other kinds of relationships aside from the romantic aspects. Bromance/sismance, families, enemies/"hate ships", crack, you name it.

Euphemia's mun is on hiatus according to the post, said about 2-3 weeks on 6/18 so she should be back soon. C.C.'s mun mentioned on the AC that she had some RL issues and took a strike. Hopefully she gets stuff resolved.

Sorry, anon. e_e We've been working on things, but then all sorts of stuff came up that necessitated putting plans on backburner until we're sure we can get things going without leaving people hanging with questions and that kind of thing.

Hopefully we'll be getting a few people some delicious first-stage info today. That said, you can still sign on if you want - at least until the next plot post is put up.

HOMESTUCK

I just wanted to give a special shout-out to our Homestuck cast; I kind of hate Homestuck as a canon and most of the time I find Homestuck RPers to be pretty incestuous and mostly in games for their own circlejerky incomprehensible bullshit

but this Homestuck cast is GREAT. they all seem really open to getting CR outside their cast (though I guess this game encourages that) and ALL of them are fantastic. I wish the Jack Noir would hurry up and post to the network but christ I could watch the Karkat and Vriska yell at people all day. And holy crap Rose is so bitchy but it's also great to see a genuinely mean character in this game.

Is there any actual way that the mods go through the apps?

Because it seems like they've done this date system and then tossed it to the wind in some cases.

Judging by some skipped apps, it seems like the mods go through the ones they know better first, then leave the rest for last.

Looks like they're having trouble keeping up with the increased popularity of the game lately. They need to make a push to get the pending apps done asap and then think about starting up an app round system, imo. And/or take on more app mods.

Honestly their system seems to be that they wait until the date given and then work on the apps and then fail to estimate well the time it takes and end up being late.

On top of that, they are really slow accepting the new characters to the comms as well, that's why you don't see their OOC or IC intro for a time after the acceptance, often the new characters have to wait an additional day to start playing.

Either there is some serious breakdown in timely communication on stuff or the mods are getting overwhelmed. Something needs to get fixed or maybe the mods should consider having certain members of the team concentrate on certain things or else we may well be getting big enough to actually need an app team or app cycles, app team preferred because I don't think cycles will fix this and they don't suit this sort of game.

They're behind and a lot of them they just seem to be tossing up revision requests for.

Which, fine, some of them need reworking. Still seems like an attempt to buy time when you leave the app that long to start with.

How many apps/revisions will they do in one night before they just abruptly stop? 3? 4?
