This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Back on LJ's rpanoncomm, somebody linked to a half-completed Victorian era H.P. Lovecraft game that looked really interesting. It might have been based on the "Call of Cthulhu" roleplaying games, or at least I was strongly reminded of them. But since this was over a year ago, I can't remember what the comm was called, or what the URL was... I assume that the game was abandoned before it opened since I never saw any other mention of it.

Does anybody remember this? And if so, link please? If it's never going to open, I'd kinda like to make a game with a similar historical/horror premise, but I don't want to accidentally rip off someone else's work.

I think it did open, was around for a while but never seemed to get any traction.

I'm pretty sure that it never opened, since I keep a close watch for new games. A similar game called "mysterium" did open, briefly, but IIRC it wasn't friendly to AUs or OCs which ruled it out for me and most of my friends.
