rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i've never actually played a templar so maybe my advice isn't really that great, but i thought it'd through my two cents in.

honestly, i think it'd be awesome if you had your templar recruit others to their cause. i know in my cast in particular, the assassins have people they would consider informants/people close enough to possibly consider letting them into the brotherhood so having the templars do the same would make a lot of sense. especially since the templars are mostly going to be outnumbered no matter what game you're in so having allies would work well for them. but remember to keep it kind of quiet icly. the templars are a little more open with recruiting people in the ac world, but that's because in the ac world the templars are winning. in games the assassins will probably have been there longer and will have more cr since there will be more of them so the templars would likely think of it as though they are winning and want to keep their actions on the down low. oocly you can scream it from the heavens, who cares. but icly haytham and charles would know to keep quiet. especially since haytham would likely know about the past assassins since he used to be one. if your templar is a lone canon warrior, they can move about more freely and they would probably still recruit! they might not feel as compelled to do it as they would if there were assassins there, but they'd probably still want some allies in the case that assassins do show up before they (the templar) find a way home.

in my cast there really having been any fights for control, but that's mostly because there are only a few templars in our cast and one of them has kept quiet about her allegiance to the templars and she doesn't know about a lot of the assassins being assassins. i do think it would be awesome to see that happen if the circumstances are right and there are enough characters on both sides for it to happen, though! most of the time it's just assassins growling at templars though because the templars are at a pretty big disadvantage with how many assassins are present.

um, i think i covered everything! these are just my thoughts on things even though i've never played a templar so hopefully they'll help.
