This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I wouldn't be able to app unless I drop some of the other games I'm in (although some I might end up dropping if I can't get invested in them, so I can always keep new games in mind).

But I like survival horror/sci-fi action-y games that have lots of plot and emphasis on things that aren't just LOL AND NOW EVERYONE'S ANIMALS. Exsilium and Exit Void look promising to me and I'm already in Ataraxion, if that's a good indication of where my interests are.

Any chance you've ever looked at soul_campaign? It's a sort of action/war-based game set in the Soul Eater universe (and I have not seen Soul Eater myself so I can attest that it's not necessary). There's a pretty strong focus on plot and the war in general, though the setup allows for more lighthearted/domestic kinds of play as well, and while Excalibur occasionally creates some of those more cracky scenarios, those are pretty rare and entirely optional. The setting is really great for cross-canon CR as well, and the partnership system is a great way to get strong CR even with less social characters.

Aaaand that got a bit more advertisement-ish than I'd intended but. Yeah, any possible castmates would be so loved, so if you ever do find yourself looking for a new games...
