rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. just watched the movie and bada bing bada boom Vanellope muse. anybody got any tips on playing her?

I kinda appreciate Vanellope for behaving PRECISELY how you'd imagine a kid programmed by adults who have no idea what kids are actually like would, which makes her ten times easier to play than most kids, because if you have to stop and think WOULD A KID DO THAT, chances are Vanellope would do it, because KIDS ARE CRAZY (according to the types of people who spend all day programming video games). She's fearless, hyper, wears her emotions on her sleeve, and she can communicate fine with adults, unlike most six-year-olds (I actually didn't realize she was supposed to be six- I thought maybe ten), so while she's super immature, she's also going to be able to carry on a conversation with an adult without everything going over her head. (Some things will, but it'll mostly be because she's a video game character and not an actual human.)

She's supposed to be nine I thought? Where did you hear six?

I have no idea. But that makes... way more sense than six.

So far, I haven't seen a single bad RPer from Wreck-It Ralph, everybody's been pretty good!
