I get what you're saying anon, but I really think if you're expecting people to not communicate on plurk you're barking up the wrong tree. No judgment call on if that's fair or not, but that's how the game communicates. If it's not to your taste it's not to your taste, but you can't expect all the players to wait until every single person is around and then do it somewhere not plurk.

If the mods were holding discussions on plurk I could understand more of your objection, but this was all from individual players and that's just a how the cookie crumbles deal.

There actually was an AU pokemon RP--Road to Viridian, or something? But iirc, it tanked. Don't remember if it was lack of interest or not, though.

What do you think of a less well-known canon, but one that's really simple or easy to understand/explain? Like, say, Avatar (your character can now manipulate an element, or not. also here is the city they live in), or The Curse Workers (modern-day mobsters, with magic!!!), etc.

deciphering the list yes. the tumblrs have been up for a while now and the mods didn't confirm or deny anything about the list until the next day when more people would be around.

I hate that this is what this canon essentially is in RP. I come on after marathoning games to play some warriors with good old fashioned pride and all the good, heroic stuff.

And I find a bunch of "it took place in the past do lets make everyone gay" instead.

Though I get where you are coming from there because I feel the same way, but on the flip side. I play adults and am afraid that people would think it creepy to have CR with too many kids even though it's canon for my character have a soft spot for children.

So it sounds like we both need to stop being chickenshits and go tag the characters we want to tag.

I hope there will be. The unique missions are cool, but it's a smaller set of characters and not as much chance for plotting and CR.

Looking for a low-pressure (on the slow end) game at which to play Aradia. Any suggestions?

I confess, I read the Tsuina side story the other day, and had the sudden desire to play her in a sex game. But then I felt bad because there'd be absolutely no chance to get a Mikado in with her, and their relationship too much to have her develop feelings for anyone else.

I guess you're right, anon. The worst that can happen is that they just don't tag me back/drop the thread and don't want cr with my character, which is actually fine. I just don't want someone to feel like they HAVE to thread with my character because I tagged them. But there really is no harm in trying.

What about the other message anon? My character wouldn't give a flying fart in space about the list but somebody telling him he better try not to die is a good in.
