I've been curious about something lately. How much time would you say you spent on rp in a week? Or in an average day?

mobile tagging I believe but it does make me wonder about the people in relationships. can’t be healthy to be on the phone all day tagging and glancing irl things.

some people are faster writers than others. i write as a part of my job, so when i'm comfortable with a character's voice and can come up with a dialogue response for a tag easily, it's easy for me to boomerang 20+ tags in an hour simply because i'm used to writing and can do it quickly and without needing to think a lot about my wording.

I only play PSLs and memes. I'd say I spend about 30 minutes to an hour each day RPing, that being re-reading a thread, looking through memes, and actually threading. Some days I spend more time, some days I don't open DW all. The average is that 30-60 minutes a day though.

It varies on if people answer my tags lol! But seriously, I have a job that really doesn't mind if I answer RP tags as long as I get my work done, so if it's not super busy, I'll RP pretty much all day, occasionally boomeranging. Then I'll go home, chill out a bit, eat and probably tag more in the evening.

I'm similar to you--my job is akin to reception or administrative work, where a lot of the time I'm "engaged to wait". I don't have a significant other or any kids to worry about, so my off-work time is mine to do with as I please. While I'm waiting on tags, I'll also be doing things like playing video games or watching Youtube, so it's hard to calculate exact amounts of time.

But I'm almost always around, unless I'm out doing something in particular.

ayrt, yep! For the most part my off work time is gaming, tagging and watching youtube stuff - I rarely go out (no interest and also because no spouse or kidlets), but I do have an elderly parent I look after who is -mostly- independent so free time foreveeeerr.

as long as i'm not dealing directly with a client or a vendor and i've done everything that needs to be done at the moment, i'm free to do whatever i want at work. my boss literally leaves the work computer logged in to his netflix account so we can watch shit if we want to lol

Same here. Half of my job is doing whatever tasks are set out, so I pop in some earbuds and play music or podcasts during that time. The other half is forward-facing towards patrons, so during that time I can read a book, be on my phone, or be on any websites that aren't NSFW in nature if none of them are coming up to ask for help. Honestly, I also do tags because it makes me look busy but not unapproachable or unprofessional as I feel being absorbed into my phone sometimes does. The patrons don't have to know what I'm actually doing.

I just save any raunchy or gory tags to do on my home computer.

If I'm active: an hour or two a day, cumulatively or very occasionally all at once.

If I'm not active: I'm sneaking in 10 minutes here and there to do a tag or two a day. The difference is whether I'm overly busy irl, or not really feeling rp.

it depends on how many tags i have, tbh! if i have a lot it could be a few hours, if i don't have many or i'm not in the mood for bommeranging right away, i could skip a day. i also have a flexible work situation so it's more about what i creatively feel up to. i'd say in a week it probably ends up about 10 hours.

i'd say five hours spread across most days.

i'm on permanent disability, so on the one hand there is no rigid schedule during which i absolutely cannot tag, but on the other i can be randomly taken out by pain/fatigue or go days without doing much at all.
