no one here is doing that you and other anons are just projecting because a significant portion of people here take everything as a personal attack and love to camp out these threads to tell everyone else what a badass they are for being unflappable

Really envious of someone on my Plurklist. Not their fault. They're nice, seem to be living a nice life, and have people jumping on their dick all day for rp and chatting them up. Just wish that were me, is all.

you have to put in the effort and cater to what the people want. you have to chat with people, establish a rapport, and always tag out first. once you do, people will do this in turn for you. it's a lot of legwork and the only people who get away with not doing it are playing all the popular characters.

Can anyone tell me how prevalent the non-con elements are in events and the meta plot?

i feel this so often anon. you can go back and edit the tag to tweak it? i've done this a couple times.

one of the court leaders has mind control powers. a handful of players enjoy playing with that, but it's entirely opt-in

as for meta plot, there isn't any

Can anyone tell me exactly what this game IS? I keep seeing people say contradictory things about it. Either it's a mission-oriented game or it's just some SOL with faeries. There's an overarcing plot or there isn't. It's dark fantasy or it's light fantasy. That you can get along fine without interacting with the NPCs or that they're a big deal.

I know a lot of it is personal bias but I haven't seen such opposite opinions being voiced about a game in a while.

i think it's one of those games where you can kind of choose your own experience because it's big with different groups of people focusing on different things.
