is it just me, or has this hobby become super slow? I’m getting amazing tags/psls but every single one of them is 1-5 tags a week at best. it makes me lose interest and wonder if I’m just too fast for dwrp now. even meme tags on bakerstreet are suddenly like I tag x on Friday, and they randomly tag me back two weeks later with either a short tag or disinterested one.

you're tagging the wrong people on bakerstreet. unfortunately those people musedump so it's. it's most of the people sometimes, on certain memes.

keep tagging around because they're out there. i have been getting tags back at least a few times a day on bskt, which is fast for me.

if you want to figure out who some of those people are, maybe have a look at some of the posts and check out the threads that are long. ik not every character will be your cup of tea, but that'll give you an idea who to tag into if the character interests you.

leans back in rocking chair...heck i remember the lj days when me and everybody i knew were cranking out like 50+ tags day in and day out. the glory times...

unfort now im pretty slow myself and most of my friends are too. the dwrp playerbase has been aging out of that speed i think. ofc fast folks still exist out there, but they're harder to find these days....especially since most meme/psl rpers specifically use those things for low-pressure threading, either supplementary to a game or specifically because they don't have the activity level to sustain in games

murdergame rp circles might be more your speed, op? no idea how one goes about getting into those circles, tho

you're gonna have to look into murdergames or team games if you want any faster than that

any recommendations? most games seem to be invite only and idk how to get in, I know no one.

sadly, the ones i know are all mod-invite only since they tend to be tight groups that occasionally let a new person in. ironically, the way i got to get invites to them is by tagging around bs until i did find someone who tags quickly and would offer me an invite.

the game i'm in racked up like a thousand tags over the weekend, you may be looking at the wrong places

bkst is like the land of flakes, musedumpers, incredibly slow people who tag monthly, and really thirsty people who probably need to stop by a sex shop one of these days

sa, also enable me plz is coming up on the 12th, so posting a game ad which says that you're interested in breaking into the short term game circles and don't know how might be your best way of getting an invite if you otherwise don't know anyone.

hey, that's not fair, some of us fit what would be a month's worth of slow but regular activity for anyone else into a couple irregularly timed and unpredictable 1-3 day tagging binges.

i only get so many windows of time in a month where rp is possible for me, so i try to ram as much in as i can while i can

anon, my advice to you is to cultivate the self esteem to be able to say 'anon obviously doesn't mean me' and move on instead of try to defend the honor of fucking bakerstreet as a whole on the basis of you being very very very fast 1 day per month

i was trying to a joke, like "hey, some of us are completely different kinds of unreliable, don't sell us short on our ways to disappoint you," I guess we gotta start using the /s tag like redditors if we're gonna be tongue-in-cheek about things.

those of us who are faster have moved to private games where everyone else there tags fast for exactly this reason.

but how does one break into a private game :/

i can only speak for myself, but i tagged a castmate on a meme, we had a fun thread, and they sent me a pm asking me if i would be interested in joining a private game with them.
