i kept waiting for you for a year.

you were tired, you were stressed, you had a lot of rl issues, you were sick, someone in your game was stressing you out. i listened to all your woes and offered my insights and suggestions. you said you needed to drop all our psls. i said i didn't mind while you sorted out your life, both rp and rl. i was happy to wait because i considered you a good friend and i wanted you to feel better first and foremost. rp can wait.

but then, i find out you started psling with the person who was stressing you out. you kept ranting to me about how insufferable they are, complaining about them not tagging you, griping that they've been ignoring your starters, talking about your threads and your rp ideas. all the while, you kept making excuses about tagging me: you lost my top-levels, you're uncreative today, you feel tired, you ran out of ideas. i offered to write a starter, but you deflected each time. i shared ideas, your reaction was indifferent.

if you didn't want to rp anymore, you could've just said so. you didn't need to keep insisting you still wanted to write with me. i would've understood. so now, i'm done. i know i said i'm taking a break, but in truth, i just want to pull away quietly before any resentment builds.

that sucks anon but also you need to just move on tbh... people try protect our feelings in this hobby bc we're a bunch of sensitive writers but go do their own thing regardless. it's better to do the same.

i've been considering it since a few months prior but i'd been holding back, thinking things would eventually change or go back to how they were. i guess i got tired of waiting. i'm only sad that this is how it all ends.
