Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not post personal information. This includes but is not limited to full names, addresses, phone numbers and so on.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

less a woe and more like a mental itch turned habit that i'm kinda laughing at myself about.
ages ago, i had a great xcanon thread with a stranger, but i can only remember what character it was with, not their OOC handle or account name. i've searched my inboxes and haven't been able to find it again to re-read. i think i must have either deleted the journal i was using at the time, or else i had a very convincingly boring dream about non-boring RP.

it was with a character that's still fairly popular now, so i kinda just tag out whenever i cross paths with one in the wild in hopes of striking gold again. thanks to this glass slipper approach leading me to multiple fun threads, i think not knowing who it was has pushed me towards more RP than if i'd remembered. so it's probably best to leave it a mystery, but i'll always kinda wonder if any of the players i've met this way are the partner from that original thread.

at this point, i refuse to say or do anything that might take my motivational mystery away from me

so now every time you get a thread going with someone new and it just clicks, you can wonder if you're actually someone's long-lost rp cinderella
