This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. you're not a useless coward, anon. people who shame others for not doing activism "correctly" are the ones setting back progress. block or unfollow this "friend". i guarantee they'll find another cause to leech onto within a few months.

+1. real ones do not do this, full stop. people with an overwhelming need to seem superior (while they may, in actual fact, be doing nothing themselves) do this. nobody needs friends who intentionally put them down.

marches aren't the only way protest the ongoing atrocities and your friend should be aware of that. not to mention, not everyone's vocal about in what ways they participate in activism, especially in social media spaces.

that said, if you do feel like you could be doing more (key point here is doing what you're able to), there are various resources floating about in spaces like plurk and twitter that go into alternative methods beyond marches.

Echoing what the other anons have said - there's no one "correct" way to do activism, and not going out and protesting certainly does not make you a coward.

A thing I don't see mentioned too often is that protesting/marching itself can be DANGEROUS, especially if you're in the US or any other place with a militarized police. A protest can be perfectly safe, of course, but if things go south, they go south FAST, and if you're in any way disabled in a way that would make a physical altercation and/or hasty retreat difficult to impossible then staying home and performing activism in other ways is both safer for you and, tbh, more effective in the long run.

There's no cowardice in protecting your health and safety, nonnie.
