rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

because the person you're talking to is a whiny pissbaby who will never, ever put on their big girl pants and tell someone they don't want to play with them, but wants to shitfit all over the place because people aren't inviting them to opt out in their preferred fashion.

i mean, they never will. that would involve acting like an adult. but not giving them an engraved invitation is oppressing them, personally.

Yeah, I'm looking through the journals in my game right now and the only ones I see with opt-out posts are characters who have potentially touchy subjects in the character's history/the canon itself. Definitely not the norm.

maybe try reaching out? sometimes i don't realize that i haven't replied to something because notifications get super wonky for me between my e-mail and dw inbox. at least in my case, if i knew someone was worried about losing a line or something i'd make a greater effort to reach out and/or keep a closer eye on our threads. i try my best but obv things sometimes fall thru the cracks.

then you're fortunate. i've had dw inbox losses. it's certainly rarer than email not getting notifs, but during some of the glitches since the server switches when we weren't getting email or dw inboxes, there have been one or two during the crush flood that went bye bye. at least two of them for me were pms.
