I know, I know it's 2022 and I wanna write from HTTYD, but the story for the Fire Tides came out last month and my brain wants to play with it.

I'd be interested in playing with any characters from HTTYD with Astrid or as Hiccup (preference to writing Astrid right now though)! It can be shippy, grim, gen, or whatever. I just want what you'll give me!

I'd also be willing to do PSLs for crossfandom with AUs or what not; I think she'd be fun in Hawkins for example. Also letting anyone meet their dragon riding partner.

I'm usually open to pretty much anything and just want both of us to have a fun time!

I'll preface by saying I meant what I typed when I put "porn with plot" in the subject! I'm looking to long-term PSL the whole build-up to this, so any actual smut would have to wait a while to happen.

Now with that out and upfront, what I want looks roughly like this. Vague generic fantasyland, with two noble families who were eternally feuding and it kept getting worse, until the king got fed up and forced them to wed their offspring to each other and be done with it. Unfortunately, both said offspring are willful and spoiled, neither actually wanted the marriage, and both only go through with it because they had no choice. They mutually make it plain they loathe each other just because they can from day one, so needless to say nothing even close to a consummation ever happens. They're both just fighting a cold war out in the open, staying as far away from each other as possible and embarrassing both their families.

Fast forward through some of that, someone eventually has enough of their bullshit and hires a witch to slip them a love potion... except it turns out to be more just a very potent fantasy-logic aphrodisiac, because let's be real, love potions don't exist. I think it would be fun if maybe only one party drank it, which I'd prefer to be the F half for less typical power dynamic reasons, but this is negotiable and honestly I'm even willing to play out both/multiple scenarios as AUs of each other. There would be a mild dubcon aspect from how the affected party has kind of altered circumstances and their consent is not really much of a choice right then, while the other party is at least still rational enough to retain proper control even if they also start off unsure. Complicated.

I'm looking to play the M half, most likely an iconless OC in his mid-20s (with a Picrew reference), although I may be able to offer some video game characters too if preferred. You can do the same or play from whatever you want, I have no medium divide. Other kinks are negotiable and we can play with possible side-effects or more long-term consequences later on. My only hard no's are full non-con, underage, and any kind of bathroom play, everything else is on a "does it vibe with the tone and scenario" basis. PM if interested!

Since the Jigokucho wank appears to have largely petered out, we are reinstituting our No discussion of G/Gsai/Gonsai policy. This includes using euphemisms for them like "the elephant" or "he who can't be named", etc. We will continue monitoring and deleting/freezing any sus comments.

so, i rewatched the hamilton musical recently, and was considering picking up a muse from it. i’m a little hesitant because 1) it’s borderline rpf, 2) most of the characters are fairly problematic just because of who they are, and 3) the fandom has a pretty bad rep. what would your thoughts be on seeing a hamilton character around the meme comms? anything you would recommend?

I've played from canons with characters that were based on real-life people and didn't encounter any problems there. Most games also have rules to the effect of "playing this historical figure is not okay, playing a fictional depiction of them is okay."

HowEVER, most of DWRP is American and I reckon the Americans have different views on playing fictional depictions of people they read about in school compared to, for example, one of the 60 billion fictional depictions of Oda Nobunaga.

Other characters seeing through my character's front and being able to read them for filth... whenever it happens it is simply a *chef's kiss* moment for me but tbh the rarity is probably what makes it such a treat. If I could get the same delight from threading this 3x a month though, I absolutely would.
