I'm still working through the details, but I want to start a game that pulls some ideas from The Forgotten City. I like the idea of character actions having an impact on the game as a whole. It wouldn't be "one person does something bad and everyone dies" like in the game because that wouldn't be tenable, and the setting and story would be their own thing, but I think it could lead to some interesting things both from a setting perspective and for character relations and interactions.

I'm not sure how to handle setting up all the comms, though. I'm not all that great at coding, and don't want info pages to turn people away because they're either too basic or aren't pretty enough.

Might be a huge shot in the dark here since I haven't seen anyone around from Haikyuu in a long while, but if anyone plays/still plays from it, lemme know! I've just gotten back into the series and picked Oikawa up as a result. He's still a new voice for me but I'd love to strengthen it if I can.

I'd kill for an Iwaizumi or Kageyama if we're talking ships (though I'll ship with anyone in the canon, even the girls since I have him as bi). But honestly, outside of ships I'd just love fellow HQ players to chat with or play off of.

(As for canon point, I'm right about where Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa is happening, but I'm catching up real quick)

A and B have been in a relationship or at least flirty for some time. A gets B over to her house for some Netflix and Chill. B is resistant and shy until A is pretty much in his lap on a wine-fueled attempt to get him to give in and kiss her, c'mon.

At which point B reveals he's actually some sort of horrible monster (dealer's choice) and he can't be in a relationship because reasons, one of which is that she's a tiny human and he's got a massive, inhuman dick. A coaxes him into letting her see, and shit, she's into that, so they start working towards fucking and making it work.

Except that A starts to change (tits grow, gets knocked up, body changes from being fucked with something that big that often) and B starts to lose the humanity he's hung onto for so long and really leans into the monster part.

I would like to play A as an iconless OC, and I don't mind where you draw from, but prefer LA icons.

i found someone who plays a particular character from a canon i'm working through and i know enough spoilers to want to try hitting them up for a psl or a thread somewhere as a canonmate but i'm nowhere near the actual relevant point of canon

i've recently figured out that i don't mind playing with people who i don't think are as good at writing as my other thread partners as long as they're relatively in character and are also having fun with whatever we're doing in the thread. i let myself play a little self-indulgently with them and it's way more fun than when i used to stress out about characterization.

i've also started playing characters with only 3-4 icons to choose from and i'm pleasantly surprised by how much action they get. i guess people like playing with my dudes even if their journals aren't perfect?

I want to throw it out there that I only care about my icons and journal. I enjoy icons and I enjoy decorating my journal. If other people don't and leave it all blank and only use their default icon? That's fine with me.

nonnies, don't shit on me for this but I loved the game mechanic in e_way that allowed characters to obtain whatever they needed for their room, at no cost. i hate keeping track of that sort of thing in rp, it's so tedious and unimportant imo. the only thing that matters (to me) is the location. where the characters live. because setting is important
