Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I wish people who said they were actually excited to thread with me... were. It's killing my confidence, but I don't really want it to since those people aren't worth it. Sorry for not being the shiny you keep boomeranging because the thread's all about your character!

And that's another thing -- kind of over feeling like my threads can't be about my character's issues but have to be about them supporting the other character...

dang anon I feel you :( especially on the second one. I try not to think about it much but I play a guy who genuinely has a lot of issues in canon and lately I feel like all I do is threads where he's playing emotional crutch to the other character, regardless of how equipped he is to do it. I'm fine with bending characterization a tad to accommodate some h/c but it's getting to an extent where it feels...ooc, I guess?

bonus points for the time my guy was having an ic reaction to a stressful situation and the other player blatantly broke the ic/ooc divide to complain in bracket text about how their guy had it so much worse than mine and mine had no reason to be upset.
