This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

as a player of humans i'm unlikely to respond at all to non-humanoids or anyone more than 50% animal/monster tbh. nothing against them, just the genre divide often ends up too much in a way that's not fun for me.

that's a stupid take because even la shows that are popular around here are fantasy ones. mcu and got shouldn't have trouble talking to a monster.

i'm just curious because "normal world" canons aren't popular in dwrp, except for idols, so it's interesting to see someone with something different

what genre do you play from? you don't have a single character who isn't in some weird valley where magical jamjar mechanics are fine, but non-humans are literally unworkable to rp with in any capacity?

i'm not even trying to be a dick, i just can't think of many canons that get rped from where this would be the case. do you play from sitcoms or something

it's not totally unthinkable for the genre i'm in, or unworkable really if i tried. i'd tag them back in a game no problem. i just don't find it fun in general.
