rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. there's a restaurant where i don't really like any of the food and never have despite trying it. my family loves it, and that's fine, but they bitch when i come along and don't order anything. or if i turn down an invite and don't go. or if i force myself to try something and dislike it.

i do not get why me not wanting to eat at a place - while being willing to hang out at least - is such a huge deal they have to get so upset all the time.

i'm a fully grown adult so it's not like they're obligated to feed me or anything - i usually just prep a meal at my home after and really only come out to see them. and like...if they want me to eat with them so badly i'm confused as to why they always schedule a meal at a place i am known to really not like?

it's so frustrating!

do they think you're a picky eater or a party pooper? do they think they "know" there's something you'll like there but you're not trying hard enough or refusing to spend time with them?

what do you think their logic is?
